These terms of use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Access Computer Training website at accesscomputertraining.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using accesscomputertraining.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site.

2Who we are

Access Computer Training ("ACT," "we," "us," or "our") is a state-licensed career training school based in the Tampa Bay area, Florida, serving students across the state and online. These Terms apply to your use of our website.

These Terms cover your use of our website. They do not replace any separate enrollment agreement, catalog, or contract you sign when you enroll in a program — those documents govern your relationship with the school as a student.

3Using our website

Permitted use

You may use the Site to learn about our programs, request information, book a call, and access resources we make available, for your own personal, non-commercial use, and in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

Activities that are not allowed

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable law or these Terms;
  • Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content except as permitted in Intellectual property or with our written permission;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems or data;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, introduce malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • Use automated tools — such as bots or scrapers — to collect information from the Site without our permission;
  • Impersonate ACT or misrepresent your affiliation with us; or
  • Use the Site to harass or harm others or to send unsolicited communications.

4Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the content on this Site — including text, graphics, page layouts, and the Access Computer Training name and logo — is owned by or licensed to ACT and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not otherwise use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or branding without our prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos, and certification marks mentioned on the Site — for example, technology vendor and certification-body marks — are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. Their appearance does not imply endorsement.

5Course, program & pricing information

We work to keep the program information on our Site accurate and current. However, details such as course content, schedules, start dates, durations, instructors, tuition, and fees may change without notice. Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer.

The official terms of any program — including tuition, fees, and requirements — are set out in our catalog and enrollment documents, which govern in the event of any conflict with information on the Site.

6Educational & career outcomes

Access Computer Training is committed to helping students prepare for careers in technology and office fields. We do not, however, guarantee any specific educational result, certification, licensure, job, salary, or other outcome.

  • Certification and licensing exams are administered by independent third parties and are subject to their own eligibility rules, fees, and requirements.
  • Career results depend on many factors, including your own effort, background, and conditions in the job market.
  • Any figures, examples, or testimonials on the Site are for illustration and are not a promise of results.

7Funding & financial information

We provide information about ways to pay for training — such as workforce grants, Vocational Rehabilitation, VA education benefits, and self-pay or financing options — to help you explore what may be available to you.

  • Eligibility for, and the terms of, any funding are determined by the responsible agency, program, or lender — not by ACT. We do not guarantee approval, funding amounts, or eligibility.
  • Where financing is mentioned, it is offered by third parties and is subject to their approval and terms. ACT is a training provider, not a lender.

8Information you submit to us

When you submit information through the Site — for example, through a contact form, our scheduling tool, or by email — you are responsible for ensuring that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not submit sensitive information that you do not want us to receive.

How we collect, use, and protect the information you provide is described in our Privacy Policy.

9Third-party links & services

Our Site may link to, or embed, third-party websites and services — such as online scheduling, forms, videos, or social media — that we do not operate or control. We provide these for your convenience and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.

10Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the information on it is complete, accurate, or current.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Access Computer Training and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12Changes to these terms of use

We may update these terms of use from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our website, or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and the changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

13Governing law

These terms of use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Florida, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
