Common Questions About Paying for Training

What’s included in the total program cost?

Tuition covers all classroom instruction, one-on-one mentoring, recorded class sessions for 24/7 review, and certification exam vouchers with one retake (where applicable). The $250 registration fee covers orientation, account setup, and academic planning. The $400 books and materials fee covers all required textbooks and digital licenses. There are no hidden fees.

Can I start a payment plan and switch to pay-in-full later?

A: Our team can discuss your specific situation. Contact us during your strategy call and we’ll walk through the options.

Do I need good credit to qualify for a payment plan?

It depends on the option. ACT’s direct payment plan may not require a credit check. Fortify and Mia Share have their own qualification processes. Our team can help you explore which option fits your situation.

Is Fortify a federal loan?

No. Fortify provides private education loans, not federal loans. Private loans have different terms, interest rates, and repayment options than federal programs. Visit fortifyedu.com/faqs for more details.

What happens if I need to withdraw from my program?

ACT has a published refund policy based on how much of the program you’ve completed. Refunds range from 90% (within the first 10%) down to 0% (after 75% completion). Our team can walk you through the details before you enroll so there are no surprises.

Can I combine self-pay with other funding sources?

In some cases, yes. For example, if VA benefits or workforce funding cover part of your tuition, you can use self-pay or a payment plan for the remaining balance. Our team can help determine the best combination for your situation.
