Access Computer Training is a state-licensed, woman-owned school built for working adults and career changers. Since 2014, we've helped 700+ people earn real certifications and step into stable IT and office careers — with live instruction and a real person guiding every step to hired.

Access Computer Training was founded in June 2014 to answer a simple, stubborn problem: working adults needed a real path into technology and office careers — without a four-year degree or its debt.
From day one, the model has been practical and skills-based: live, instructor-led training mapped to the certifications employers actually ask for, taught in small cohorts by people who've done the work. Not an endless library of videos — a real classroom, a real instructor, and a real plan to get hired.
More than a decade later, we've stayed the course — partnering with employers and workforce agencies, and staying accountable to measurable education and employment outcomes for every student we train.
Kristin Pelletier opens ACT to bring career-focused computer training to the greater Tampa Bay region.
Approved with CareerSource/WIOA, Vocational Rehabilitation, and the VA — expanding access for job seekers, displaced workers, and veterans.
A woman-owned, state-licensed school delivering live online across Florida — with an expanding catalog spanning IT, cybersecurity, office administration, and project management.
“I built ACT because adults deserved a real path into tech — not another endless course library that left them stuck.”
Kristin Pelletier, MOS, founded Access Computer Training in 2014 and still teaches the Microsoft Office programs herself. She brings 25+ years working with business and Microsoft applications, and more than a decade developing curriculum and leading instructor-led training.
Under her leadership, ACT operates as a Florida DOE-licensed institution and certified Woman-Owned Small Business — overseeing academic programs, faculty, regulatory compliance, and the workforce partnerships that fund so many of our students.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, career-focused education that equips people with the technical skills, industry-recognized certifications, and professional competencies to get hired, advance, and adapt to a changing workforce.
High-quality, standards-based instruction that prepares students to pass certification exams and succeed on the job.
Programs built around real employer demand and the nationally recognized certifications hiring managers look for.
Advising, mentorship, and one-on-one career coaching — because completion and getting hired are what matter.
We track progress, certification results, and employment outcomes — and answer to the agencies that fund our students.
Curriculum is reviewed against labor-market data, certification updates, and employer input — so training never goes stale.
Small cohorts and a culture of respect, so every student — absolute beginner or career pro — is set up to thrive.
Every program is career-focused and certification-backed — short enough to change your life this year, deep enough to hold up in a real job.
