Get There Faster Grant

Access Computer Training is committed to providing the tools necessary for our Transitioning Service members, Veterans and their spouses gain and sustain careers. The “Get There Faster” program is a team of fellow Veterans that are committed to helping you succeed in your employment goals. We will use accelerated training models to assist Veterans and their spouses gain high-demand positions within the local community. Grant application and eligibility are the first step in accessing services’

Grant Eligibility

  • Get There Faster offers services that are eligibility-based.
  • Residency in Hillsborough County.
  • Age requirement of 18 years or older.
  • DOS for transitioning service members.
  • DD214 or equivalent for veterans with an honorable discharge.
  • Proof of military spouse status or retirement.
  • Meet U.S. citizenship or permanent residency requirements.

These criteria ensure that our services cater effectively to transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses by providing tailored support based on their individual backgrounds and needs.

 

Services Included

Comprehensive Live Remote Fast Track training with ACT is supported through tuition assistance.

Individualized Career Services include:
  • Initial interview with assessment of current skills, work history, education and experience.
  • Resume Template designed to pass the ATS every time!
  • Ai for resume and Linkedin profile optimization.
  • Ai tools for interview practice.
  • Job search strategies to stand out

VETERANS PLEASE READ!!  

Because Access Computer Training is an NCD (Non College Degree) school, all Veterans using VA educational benefits must be “IN-PERSON”  for all classes. The provision of the Student Veteran Coronavirus Response Act of 2020 which allowed schools to certify remote courses due to Covid-19 as in-residence courses has expired as of June 6th, 2022.  For all other non-VA students, classes are hybrid except the Business Applications and Microsoft All courses which are offered remotely only.
