Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what information Access Computer Training collects when you visit accesscomputertraining.com or contact us, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
On this page
Access Computer Training ("ACT," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This privacy policy describes the personal information we collect through our website and services, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you. By using our website, you agree to the practices described in this privacy policy.
1Overview & scope
This privacy policy applies to information collected through accesscomputertraining.com and when you contact us, request information, or enroll in our training programs. It does not apply to information collected offline through channels unrelated to this website, or to third-party websites that may link to or from our site.
Access Computer Training is a state-licensed career training school based in the Tampa Bay area, Florida. If you have questions about this policy, please contact us.
2Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, as well as certain information automatically when you use our website.
Information you give us
- Contact details — such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Enrollment and inquiry details — information you share when you request program information, book a call, or apply, which may include your background, goals, and funding questions.
- Messages and attachments — the content of forms, emails, or documents you send us.
- Call recordings and transcripts — when you speak with our automated or AI phone assistant, or with our team by phone.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files stored on your device, described in Cookies & tracking technologies.
3How we collect information
- Directly from you — when you complete a form, book a strategy call, email us, or enroll in a program.
- Over the phone — when you speak with our AI voice assistant or our team, including on recorded calls.
- Automatically — through server log files and cookies as you browse our website.
- From service providers — such as analytics and advertising partners that help us understand and improve how our website is used.
4How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
- Respond to your inquiries and provide information about our training programs and funding options;
- Process enrollments and communicate with you about your training;
- Personalize your experience and analyze how our website is used;
- Send you updates, offers, and other communications you have requested or that relate to our services (you can opt out at any time);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, or technical problems; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
5Phone calls, AI voice assistant & call recording
When you give us your phone number or book a call, we may contact you by phone or text message — including through an automated calling system and an artificial or AI-generated voice assistant — to follow up on your request and help pre-qualify you for our programs before a human team member reaches out. At the start of these calls we tell you who we are, that you are speaking with an AI assistant, and that the call may be recorded.
What we collect on these calls
- Call recordings and transcripts — the audio and a written transcript of the call.
- Your responses — what you share, such as your goals, county, employment and funding situation, and the program you are interested in.
- Call details — the phone number, and the date, time, and outcome of the call.
How we use it
- To follow up on the call you booked and review your eligibility for training and funding;
- To route your information to the right career coach and personalize their follow-up;
- For quality assurance, training, and record-keeping; and
- To meet our legal obligations.
Your choices. You are speaking with an AI assistant and can ask for a person, decline to answer, or tell us to stop contacting you at any time. To opt out of automated or recorded calls, tell the assistant or call 855-9-LEARNIT. Consenting to automated or AI calls is not a condition of enrolling in any program.
We keep call recordings and transcripts only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify them, as described in Data retention.

- Service providers — vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, and advertising, and who are permitted to use your information only to provide those services.
- Funding and training partners — where you ask us to help you pursue funding (for example, workforce, Vocational Rehabilitation, or VA benefits), we share only the information needed to support your request, with your knowledge.
- Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ACT, our students, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Some privacy laws treat the use of advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. If that applies to you, see Your privacy rights for how to opt out.
8Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
