SSI-SSDI Training Grant

The SSI-SSDI Career Training Grant at Access Computer Training

Individuals aged 18 to 64 who receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) now have an opportunity to improve their skills and career prospects by enrolling in free computer training courses at Access Computer Training. This program removes financial barriers, covering not only the tuition but also registration fees, textbooks, learning materials, and any necessary supplies. This means participants can focus on learning without worrying about any out-of-pocket costs.

The SSI-SSDI training grant is a locally funded grant through Vocational Rehabilitation. It provides a supportive, inclusive space where individuals with disabilities can gain the skills needed to compete in today’s job market. Whether participants want to boost their technical skills, learn new software, or earn certifications to improve their job prospects, this program ensures all financial needs are covered so that they can fully concentrate on their education and career path.

Beyond financial aid, the program aims to empower individuals by offering a range of courses to suit different skill levels and career goals. No matter the challenges one may face either mentally or physically,  Access Computer Training offers personalized learning options that fit your needs and your career goals. Participants can choose from courses in technology, computer literacy, and other professional development areas relevant to today’s job market.

This initiative goes beyond education—it’s about giving individuals with disabilities the tools and confidence to pursue long-term career opportunities. After completing these courses, participants may be better prepared to enter or return to the workforce, potentially leading to higher-paying jobs, job security, and an improved quality of life. For those eager to return to work, develop new skills, or explore a new career path, this program could be a life-changing opportunity.

This training grant program shows a strong commitment to helping individuals with disabilities overcome employment barriers and achieve greater independence through meaningful work. Removing the financial burden that comes with education and skill-building, offers a clear path to personal and professional growth, ensuring that no one is left behind in their pursuit of career success.
