OUR VALUES

QUALITY

Access Computer Training provides a quality experience. Our top priority is supporting our students. We record all classes and offer one-on-one time with instructors outside class.  We give students the opportunity to purchase equipment at low or no cost. We provide free subscriptions to Microsoft 365 to enrolled students. We hold ourselves, trainers and staff, to a higher standard and ensure our students feel comfortable with the curriculum and its delivery. Most of all, we ensure that our graduates are happy with their experience and confident in their newfound knowledge.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Distractions are a part of life. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with all that we tend to take on. At Access Computer Training, we are your accountability partner. Let us provide the tools you need to make the most of your time here. Staying engaged and on-task is critical to your success. Our students have 24/7 access to our online classroom to view recordings of all classes as well as videos on important subjects like resume tips and how to create your own interview pitch, as well as complete homework assignments, communicate with classmates, staff and faculty. Students have the ability to work independently using these tools but also have access to our staff and trainers for one on one help whenever necessary. Access Computer Training offers the support you need to stay on task and finish your course with flying colors!

TRANSFORMING BELIEFS

We believe in working closely with our students to form a relationship that helps us understand their WHY. Success stems from confidence and self-belief. Most of the time, what holds us back is fear or a belief that we don’t have what it takes, that we can’t possibly do it, or that we are just not good enough, smart enough, talented enough, or don’t have anything to offer. This is especially true as we get older. ACT is committed to working with our students to build confidence by improving their skills, telling our own stories of failure to success, letting them know they are not alone in the struggle and proving to them that they ARE capable and worthy! This makes a tremendous difference in our students’ lives, especially when applying and interviewing for jobs.

COMPASSION

We’ve had the pleasure of serving hundreds of students. In doing so, we’ve come to realize that everybody goes through something at one time or another. We have heard heart-wrenching stories over the years, from homelessness to hunger to toxic relationships and more. Our students are like family; we hurt with them, we cry with them, and we feel for what they are going through. We help our students through tough times by listening, sharing our own stories and providing a way out by working hard and staying focused with a moto that failure is not an option. We are happy to lend a listening ear or a leaning shoulder because we know it makes a world of difference.

ACHIEVING GOALS

Helping our students achieve their career goals is our #1 priority. Our instructors are professionals who genuinely care about the well-being of our students. We offer professional development workshops to ensure students are getting noticed online and in person. These workshops include strategy sessions with personally assigned career coaches, resume assessments and edits, LinkedIn profile critiques, mock interviews, and on-demand lessons on subjects like time management and emotional intelligence (the most highly sought training in 2020). ACT is here to guide, advise, and direct our students in goal setting and goal achieving by creating actionable steps and holding students accountable so that they have the tools they need to meet their goals. Your goal is our goal. Your success is our success.
