No worries, we record all classes.  You will have 24/7 access to these recordings so you won’t miss anything.

No worries, we record all classes.  You will have 24/7 access to these recordings so you won’t miss anything.  We are still here to support you with whatever you need even long after you graduate.  Once a student always a student!  We’ve had students return to us for more training as well as refer friends, colleagues and their company to us for training their staff too!

Access Computer Training is now a fully remote training facility.  Meaning all students (except for our veterans using VA Education benefits) are now learning from the comfort of their own home.  Students are responsible to have the following equipment:

  • Windows Laptop or Desktop
  • Separate monitor (or smart tv)
  • HDMI cord
  • Internet

If you do not have a computer, you can go to PCsforpeople.org.  This is a non-profit organization made of volunteers who refurbish computers and sell them back out to folks who otherwise would not have the means for a brand-new laptop.  This is a great program and many of our students have been able to purchase a “like-new” laptop for a fraction of the cost.  You do have to qualify as either unemployed or low income.

Access Computer Training will provide each live student with:

  • A Subscription to MS365
  • 24/7 Access to all MS365 applications (even the ones not covered in class)
  • Access to our on-demand learning platform with over 10,000 videos on all things Microsoft and Google and more!  (You have access to those apps with your MS365 subscription and in this platform, you can learn these apps!  i.e. MS Visio, To Do, Yammer, Planner, Bookings, etc)
  • Practice testing for MS365 and information on how you can get certified if you prefer
  • Print Books, Materials, Handouts,  ebook, elab, county support resources,
  • One on one with the instructor if necessary
  • For our IT students, you also receive all of the above plus your practice labs, practice exams and exam vouchers
  • Our MS Office/365 course is 12 weeks long.  It is a rolling enrollment.  Meaning, as we go through the program, we have 7 different course each with their own start date.  So if you miss the start of the beginning of the program (Windows & File Management), then you can start when the next course begins.  Word, Google, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Excel.

Our IT course is critical to start with A+.  A+ is approximately 8 weeks.  Then we take 2 weeks in between A+ and Net+ for students to study and go take (and pass) their exam before starting Net+.  However, keep in mind we record all classes and students would have 24/7 access to those recordings.  So if you miss the first few weeks of A+, you can always view those classes through the recordings to get caught up.

We provide live FREE webinars every other Friday from 9am-11am Eastern time.  Please “like” our Facebook page for more information on upcoming live FREE webinars.  We switch off between Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google.  Coming soon will be Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive and SharePoint.  www.facebook.com/accesscomputertraining

No, these are grants funded through your local county.  However, you DO have to qualify.  You must be eligible and suitable for this program.  This is not a loan.  There is no credit check.  However, there is an application process.  If you are eligible, you may apply.  However, if you do not meet compliance standards with this program, you may be deemed unsuitable.  In other words, you must apply, you must provide documentation, take a competency test and pass, respond quickly to emails and voicemails and provide your assigned counselor with all that he/she needs to complete your application in a timely manner.  If you do not, even though you are eligible, you may be deemed unsuitable.
