It’s been proven that it costs less for a company to retain an employee than it does to replace an employee. One strategy companies utilize to ensure their workers are up-to-date on the latest technologies is providing them with computer training. Did you know your business could qualify for training reimbursement for your employees? There are two grant programs that your business may qualify for which are designed to help employed workers broaden and strengthen their skills:
Employed Worker Training Program
This grant is offered through local workforce offices. It is designed to assist employers with training their employees by providing funding for computer training and other programs. It takes approximately three to four weeks for your application to be processed through the Employed Worker Training Program but it most definitely can be worth the wait as computer training for your employees can be reimbursed by up to 100%!
Incumbent Worker Training Program
Florida’s Incumbent Worker Training Program is designed to help businesses retain workers by providing training assistance. Reimbursement from the Incumbent Worker Training Program can be up to 75% for pre-approved training including computer training.
Access Computer Training (ACT) can help you apply for the Employed Worker Training Program and/or Incumbent Worker Training Program. Even if you do not qualify for reduced cost or free computer training for your employees, our computer training classes are very reasonably priced and designed to help ensure your employees gain the knowledge and skills necessary for them to succeed in the workplace.
