You’ve spent time in the military serving your country. Whether you’ve served one tour or earned a retirement with 20+ years, transitioning back into the civilian job market can be intimidating at best. The military Transition Assistance Program (TAP) offers some information and assistance while you are still active duty. But, what happens when you get out?
If you are a veteran of the U.S. armed forces, we’re here to help! Access Computer Training understands the uncertainty you may have when it comes to finding civilian employment. The good news is we have worked with a number of veterans to help them attain the business and computer skills needed to compete in today’s civilian job market.
Our classes are not only comprehensive, but they are also engaging and designed to position students for success. ACT offers both basic skills and advanced courses. Computer classes offered include Microsoft Office, Bookkeeping including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and QuickBooks, Windows OS, Google for Business and more. We also offer employment services designed to help expand your knowledge including interviewing, resume building, goal setting, time management and more!
Veterans with active duty service on or after September 11, 2001 may qualify for the Post-911 GI Bill®. Access Computer Training is an approved Veterans Administration training center. If you qualify for the Post-911 GI Bill, the computer and business courses you take with us may be free!
ACT is excited to help you begin the next phase of your career. View our training calendar or give us a call to learn more.
